There was a nifty activity on a forum I used to visit, called The Block.
But sadly it has fallen prey to rampant spambots and neglect.
The specs to follow were:
4 arms, 3 eyes, insect wings, arms longer than torso,
reptile tail, elephant legs, claws,
20 minutes or less spent drawing
